Creating and Editing Works

With AccessKit, it is easy to create, edit, and publish your Works. On this page, you will learn how to set up your accessible Works.

Creating a Work

From the Admin Dashboard home page, press the + Work button. You can also navigate directly to the New Work page in a browser via the following link:

You will now see the New Work page, which looks like this:

  1. Fill out the form with the appropriate information.

    • N.B.: You can edit these fields at any time as needed.
  2. You can always create a Work before you have its accessibility content (i.e. captions or audio) and come back to upload when ready.

  3. For more information about each of these fields, please refer to the Work Management docs page.

  4. Once you have filled out the form, click Create Work.

Editing or Deleting a Work

From the Admin Dashboard home page, you can click the [edit] button next to any Work's name to change any of its fields' values or delete the Work entirely. Reference the Work Management docs page for more information about each of the fields.

Remember to click the Update Work button when you are done editing the Work's fields.

To delete the Work, simply click Delete Work.

  • Warning: This action is permanent!

Making an Exhibition Public/Private

If you would like to hide the Work from the public without deleting it, even if its parent Exhibition is Published, uncheck the Work's Published? toggle control, and then click the Update Work button.
